A: The DPW annually sweeps town-owned sidewalks & parking lots in the spring. Town-owned roads are swept annually by a hired contractor, typically from mid-April through June. Go to the town website and enter the road name into the Street Status search box to confirm if the location is maintained by the Town. Once confirmed, request sweeping services using QAlert. Note: For road sweeping requests, the Department of Public Works will inspect an area for missed or incomplete sweeping. If a road has not been properly swept, the contractor will be contacted and requested to have their sweeper return to that area.
